The Digital
Process
With a one year contract we
supply you with digital handheld recorders. At the end of the day, files
are uploaded to our system.
Document
file names would then be coded based on the needs to quickly and easily
identify documents; i.e. all hematology/oncology clinic documents could
be coded ONC‑SmithJe‑0901.doc.
(Clinic-Pt
last name PT first name two initials - date of service).
When
documents are completed the transcriptionist then uploads the documents
to a central server located on site at Forbes Medical Transcription.
These documents would then be transferred via an FTP or VPN to a
specific server and folder site. Professionals as deemed appropriate at
your site would access the folder to retrieve and process reports.
